He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Trelinski and Helen Trelinski; his son Duncan; his siblings, Victoria Storozuk, Nora McConkey and Lawrence Trelinski; and his siblings-in-law, Peter Skally, Harold Sherran and Dorothy Trelinski.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Wakefield; his sons, Jay and Warren; his daughters-in-law, Nadeline and Sherry; his granddaughters, Faith, Tristin and Lena; and his siblings, Julie Skally, Edward Trelinski, Amelia Sharon and Sally Malicki (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
