Therese (Mercier) Fortier Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Therese (Mercier) Fortier in Thunder Bay, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 3, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mercier and Rose-Anna Mercier; her husband Maurice (Fortier); her sons, Marc and Alain (Timmy); her son-in-law Calvin; her siblings, Henri, Joseph Jr., Maurice, Eugene, Marie Rose and Rose-Alma (Clemente); and her grandchildren, Ryan and Dennis.

She is survived by: her children, Michel (Brenda), Diane Lise (Doug) and Linda (Wyatt); her daughters-in-law, Laura and Karen; her grandchildren, Kevin (Rebecca), Hazel (Chris), Darrell (Terry), Shandae (Ken), Chantal (Russell), Colin (Karen), Stacey (Brent), Jean-Marc (Mia), Martin, David (Jen), Cory (Paige), Justin (Chelsea), Angie (Shawn), Paige, Neil (Claudia) and Raymond; and her sisters-in-law, Rose, Aldea (Tia), Reina Lucie (Normand), Rose-Anne, Mariette and Lynn. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, should friends so desire, donations may be made to the Arthritis Society in Therese's name.
