With solemn reverence, we commemorate Theresa Cecelia Oster (Thunder Bay, Ontario), whose life came to an end on April 9, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Tookenay and Margaret Tookenay; her husbands, Roland Preston and Emil Oster; and her sons, Alan Preston and Louis.
She is survived by: her children, Veronica Oster (late Marc Dube) and Lloyd Preston; her grandchildren, Shaun Szachury (Jill Foran), Derek Dube, Ryan Dube (Amanda Hachborn) and Graham Dube (Brooke Rutledge); and her great grandchildren, Patrick, Vanessa Dube, Walker Scali, Callum Dube, Calleigh and Max Calder.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church (121 Picnic Point Rd, Longlac, ON P0T2A0). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Should friends so desire to make a donation in Theresa's name, the family has chosen the MS Society of Canada in honour of her grandson Derek.
