She is survived by: her husband Arto Elonen; her daughter Tuula Melo (Bryan); her stepchildren, Tiina Elonen (Finland) and Peter; her grandchildren, Lisa Turega (Joel) and Shane Kay (Laura); her stepgrandchildren, Heidi Tiainen (Kayla) and Markko Tiainen (Finland); her great grandchildren, Mady, Kenzie, Chloe and Noah; and her sibling Jorma Sinko (Finland). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
