He was predeceased by: his mother Irene (Bigelow); and his stepfather Clarence Rhodes. He is survived by: his wife Josie (McPherson); his children, Gail Dick (Jeremy), Irene Taylor (Rene), Clarence Barrie and Stanley Barrie (Melanie); his grandchildren, Kaya, Kyler, Raymond, Patrick, Amber, Jaimee, Jerome and Remy; his great grandchildren, Xavier and Kayzer; his sister Gail Teed (William); and his nephews, Randy Thoms, Patrick Thoms, Philip, Melanie and Herb Page.

If friends so desire a donation in Stewart's memory may be made to St. Joseph's Care Group.
