He was predeceased by: his father Henk Meyer; his in-laws, Barney and Betty Tackney; and his siblings-in-law, Tom, Dennis Tackney, John Walgren and Jane Tackney.
He is survived by: his wife Kim; his son Henk; his mother Roely; his pet Willie; his siblings, Ken (Charlene), John (Melissa), Teda (Andy) and Janet (Al); his sisters-in-law, Bev, Debbie (Rod), Bonnie (Terry) and Marianne; and his caregiver Kathleen Moore. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Columbus Centre (301 May St S, Thunder Bay, ON P7E1B7).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Joseph's Hospice.
