She was predeceased by: her significant other Theodore Romaniuk; her parents, Danylo Chopty and Anna Chopty; and her siblings, Walter, Maria Kuzyk, Josephat and Olga.
She is survived by: her children, Hanusia (Bohdan Tkaczyk), Orysia, Michael, Roman, Katherine and Andrew (Janice); and her grandsons, Mike, Mark and Nick Tkaczyk (Jaimie Ramos).
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to Holy Cross Church or to humanitarian efforts in Ukraine.
