He was predeceased by: his grandmother Betty; his parents, Chester and Nora; and his in-laws, John and Thora Flank.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karen and Ellen; his grandchildren, Robi (Trevor) and Kalie (Todd); his great grandchildren, Emma, Carson, Peyton, Ava and Archer; and his sister-in-law Melba Flank. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
