It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Hendel (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband George Hendel; her children, Kim (Larry) and James (Wendy); her grandchildren, Erin (Andrew), Kayla (Zach), Jonathan (Kate), Alexander, Rachel (Alex) and Jacob; her great grandchildren, Olivia and Emma; her parents, Dave Rempel and Hilda Rempel; and also Patrice (Brian).
A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the New Apostolic Church (639 Van Norman St, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4G4). A reception was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
