She was predeceased by: her parents, Hanna Shaganash and Angus Shaganash; and her nephew Ian Shaganash. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Gorst; and her siblings, Jennifer Wright (Ronald Wright), Mervin Shaganash (Cathy Hardy), Clifford Shaganash (Emelita Shaganash), Agnes (Debbie), Harvey Shaganash (Charla Charles), Lisa Echum (Derek Echum), Priscilla Shaganash, Georgina Shaganash (Ronald Echum), Farin Shaganash (Esther Moore) and Joshua Shaganash (Tanya Duchene). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
