It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Russ MacKay (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on July 4, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George McKay and Elsie McKay; his siblings, Hilda (John), Irene (Earl), Henry (Sadie), Robert (Shirley), Georgina (Chester) and Pearl; his nephew Gregg Jollymore; and his son-in-law Paul Stewart.

He is survived by: his children, Michael MacKay (Barbara) and Janet Stewart; his granddaughter Ellen Boyanowski; and his sister Pauline Jollymore (Dale). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
