Ritva Kankkunen Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ritva Kankkunen (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on November 6, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvo Neuvonen and Toini Neuvonen; her brother Markku; and her stepfather Aimo Hanna. She is survived by: her husband Osmo; her sons, Ken (Lorna) and Kyle (Tanya); her granddaughter Cassie; her great grandchild Taylee; her grandson Kaelain; her nephew Kevin; her cousins, Anja and Arja; her parents-in-law, Aaro and Lea; her nephew Jari (Christie); her great-nephews, Stephen and Gregory; and her close friends, Tauno and Brenda.

Current regulations require everyone in attendance to provide proof of double vaccination with photo ID, and wear a mask.
