Rhoda (Lonergan) Douglas Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rhoda (Lonergan) Douglas (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Scotland, Ontario, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, John F. Lonergan and Richard Douglas; and her parents, Gregory MacLeod and Catherine MacLeod. She is survived by: her close friend John; her friend Flora; her children, Rick Perciante, Karen Lonergan (Rick) and John Lonergan (Charlene); her grandchildren, Jasmine and Jarrod; her siblings, Angus of Simcoe, Norman of Toronto and Marie of Scotland; and also Gary. She is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In keeping with Rhoda's love of animals, we ask that should friends so desire, donations be made in her memory to the Thunder Bay and District Humane Society, Save a Stray, Kitty Kare, Northern Spay Neuter Program, Caring Hearts Cat Sanctuary or any other charity to help animals.
