Portis Aristotelis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Portis Aristotelis (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on April 8, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Portis Aristotelis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fotini Portis and Christos Portis; his siblings, Sofia Panosopoulos (late Ken), Koula Georgakopoulos (late John), Basile Portis (late Fotena), Thomas Portis (Athena) and Leonidas Portis (Dimitra); and his brothers-in-law, Jim Grace (late Dorothy) and Michael Grace (Kim).
He is survived by: his significant other Barbara Portis; his children, Barbara Carr (Bill), Edward Homonko and Carl (Bill); his grandsons, Trevor Carr (Kelli) and Tanner Homonko (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Rylee and April Carr; and his sisters-in-law, Dimitra Portis, Athena Portis and Kim Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Westfort Chapel (420 Gore St W, Thunder Bay, ON P7E6J2).
