It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Doris Morriseau (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Weagamow Lake, Ontario, who passed away on November 27, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Adams and Eva Adams; her siblings, Sadie Chikane, Thomas Adams, Ina Kanate, Caleb Sakchekapo, Innes Sakchekapo and Albert Sakchekapo; her parents-in-law, Alphonse and Patricia Morriseau; and her siblings-in-law, Verna Morriseau, Emile Fabian, Wayne Morriseau, Myrna Morriseau and Daniel Morriseau.

She is survived by: her husband Pierre Morriseau; her children, Jarrett (Marlene), Kyle and Michelle Morriseau (Landyn Sturgeon); her grandchildren, Madeline, Benjamin and Nicholas Morriseau; her siblings, Caroline Quequish, Raymond Adams (Beatrice), Lucy Kenequanash (Billy), Sarah Quequish and Harry Sakchekapo; and her siblings-in-law, Neil, Darlene and Vernon Morriseau (Arrows). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
