He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve and Sophie; and his stepfather Steve. He is survived by: his wife Victoria; his children, Bill, Maxine Wiersema (Dale) and Alison; his granddaughters, Caitlin and Veronica; and his siblings, Steve (Penny), Jonny and Dolly (Tom). He is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Peter's memory to Thunder Bay Cancer Centre, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
