He was predeceased by: his wife Maria; and his granddaughter Lindsay Stewart. He is survived by: his daughters, Liz Stewart (Pat) of Ottawa and Sonya Kowalenko (Bill Carter) of Toronto; and his grandchildren, Alex (Lacey), Mitchell (Tesia), Sasha "Mutsik" and Laura (Shawn).
