Patrick Barker Obituary

The memory of Patrick Barker (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on October 26, 2024 at the age of 49, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Doris Barker, Maiju and Ensti Salo. He is survived by: his parents, Ken Barker and Riitta Barker; his wife Amanda Barker (Menei); his stepson Joshua Kolody (Hope); his brother Christopher; and his pets, August, Shadow and Mellow. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.

A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Slovak Legion (801 Atlantic Ave, Thunder Bay, ON P7C2T3).

In lieu of flowers, the family would greatly appreciate that donations be made in Patrick's memory to the Thunder Bay District Humane SocietyCondolences from family and friends.

One memory that my mother always talks about is how sometimes Pat would come over for lunch and she would make them “fat” pancakes (we grew up on thin pancakes). She’d burn them on the outside and they’d be raw on the inside. Pat would eat them no complaint! He was always a happy addition in our household and lots of fun.
