Olga Chamut Obituary

It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Olga Chamut (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away at the age of 94, on October 17, 2021. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Lubuk and Helen Lubuk; her sister Elsie; her brother-in-law Joe Kwasny; and her nephews, Brian Kwasny and Bill Giertuga.

She is survived by: her husband Fred; her son Ted (Susan); her granddaughter Shelby Bruni (Tony); her great grandchildren, Julianna, Natalia and Tessa; her grandson Logan Chamut (Shilo); her great grandchildren, Grayson and Kaija Olga; and her friends, Josie Moskwa, Mike and Sylvia Kostecki. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, COVID protocols are still being applied in group settings. Capacity is limited to allow for social distancing of 6 feet, a record of attendance must be maintained and wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone is mandatory for those attending the services.

Should friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Olga may be made to Northern Cancer Fund, St Joseph's Hospice or a charity of your choice.
