She was predeceased by: her sons, Markku and Mauri; and her husband Vilho. She is survived by: her parents, Marja Pihlajamaki and Victor Pihlajamaki; her daughters, Meeri Makinen (Uolevi) and Minna Novak (Peter); and her daughters-in-law, Ritva Koski and Laila Koski. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren.
