She was predeceased by: her husband Reino; her parents, Waino Wuorisalo and Helmi Wuorisalo; her brothers, Ralph (Lois) and Richard; her grandson Christopher; her siblings-in-law, Elsa and Paul; and her niece Debbie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Violet Kohanski (Michael) and Brenda Nelson (Lou); her grandchildren, Sean Kohanski (Katarina), Noel Kohanski (Tricia), Leah Kohanski (Al), Greg Nelson (Cindy), Kari Nelson (Shannon) and Amy Kembel (DJ); her great grandchildren, Kiana, Mikaela, Kade, Hope, Conner, Aiden, Olivia, Emily and Aby; and her brother-in-law Eino.
