It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Miguel Moonias in Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 27, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmothers, Madeline Moonias and Betty Moonias; and his brother Dakota Mekanak. He is survived by: his common-law partner Nicole Achneepineskum; his children, Nellie, Jenelle, Kiera, Isaias and Valan; his mother Sheila Mekanak; his siblings, Aaron, Preston, Starlene, Kyrell and Skyla; his grandfathers, Simon Moonias Sr. and Tony Sakanee; and also Simon Paul Moonias. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Due to COVID restrictions, a private viewing (by invitation only) for Miguel will be held in the EVEREST FUNERAL CHAPEL, 299 Waverley Street at Algoma.
