He was predeceased by: his sons, Marc and Alain (Timmy); his parents, Clara and Ernest; his brothers, Paul, Rene Joseph, George, Alfred and Richard; his grandchildren, Ryan and Dennis; and also Calvin.

He is survived by: his wife Therese (Mercier); his children, Michel (Brenda), Diane (Doug), Lise and Linda (Wyatt); his daughters-in-law, Laura and Karen; his grandchildren, Kevin (Rebecca), Hazel (Chris), Darrell (Terry), Shardae, Chantal (Russell), Colin (Karen), Stacey (Brent), Jean-Marc (Mia), Martin, David (Jen), Cory (Paige), Justin (Chelsea), Angie (Shawn), Paige, Neil (Claudia) and Raymond; his siblings, Rose, Tia, Reina (Normand) and Jean-Guy (Lynn); and his sisters-in-law, Mariette, Rose Anne and Lucie. He is also survived by many great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter.
