He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar and Irene; his sisters, Florence Rose, Leanne Gascon and Evelyne Dumonski; his parents-in-law, George and Tsunaye Motomura; and his sisters-in-law, Rimi Baker and Kimi Gamblin.

He is survived by: his sibling Lianne; his wife Fusaye; his son Wayne; his daughter-in-law Paula; his great grandchildren, Aubree and Autumn Goldberg; his siblings, Howard (Sharon), George Goldberg (Linda), Margaret St. Denis (Andre), Mary Currier and Rita Chaboyer; and his pets, Molly and Minnie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
