It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maria Sofia Kogoj (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on February 16, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Slavko; her parents, Ato Fabjan and Ludmila Fabjan; and her siblings, Jozef and Ivanka Madon.

She is survived by: her children, Rudy, Frank and Ida; her grandchildren, Chelsea Kogoj (Eric Eloranta) and Ashley Lipczynski (Jason Bechard); and her great grandchildren, Adam, Ace, Veda and Maverick. She is also survived by numerous friends and relatives.
