We are sad to announce that on September 27, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Maria Figueira (Thunder Bay, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio Figueira; her parents, João Vieira and Eugénia Vieira; and her brother João Vieira. She is survived by: her children, Eugénia (Mario Batista), Helena (Manuel Neves), Maria, Nazaré (late Antonio Arruda), Ana (Luis Martins), Margarida and José (Patricia); her grandchildren, Mario (Ana), Manuel (Clara), Elizabeth (Tony), Irene, Miguel (Catarina), Chana, Andre (Robyn), Dinis, Alicia (Mitchell), Katrina, Samantha and Amber; her great grandchildren, Enrique, Mercedes, Lucas, Beatriz, Mayla, Nash, Cameron, Maria Luisa, Eleanor and Emersyn; and also Portugal.

Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
