She was predeceased by: her parents, Evaristo Alves and Gloria Alves (Jose DaCosta); and her sister-in-law Maria Alves (Estrela). She is survived by: her husband Jose Rodrigues DaCosta; her sons, Joe (Tammy), Carlos (Kathy), John (Vikki) and Fernando; her grandchildren, Miguel (Laura), Celyne (Zach), Jamie, Dante, Joey, Franki, Chantel (Lucas), Anthony and Julia; her great grandchildren, Aija, Asher, Ari and Jaxton; and her brother Manuel Alves.
