Margaret Eleanor Smith-McCallum Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margaret Eleanor Smith-McCallum of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on August 28, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Harriet Dufault and John Reed (Jack); her husband Cecil McCallum; the father of her children Eddie Smith; her siblings, John William Reed (Bill), Hazel Anne Reed (Butch) and Ellen Eickmeier; her grandson Lee Antoniak; and her son-in-law Joseph Morrison.

She is survived by: her children, Margaret Anne Smith (Peggy), Mary Alice Smith-Morrison, Edward Dewey Smith, Virginia Antoniak (Michael) and Marcel Smith (Holly); her grandchildren, Willow, Jesse Fiddler (Angie), Danielle Morrison-Angeconeb (Blake), Madison Wheeler-Shepstone (Gerald), Marielle, Sebastien, Amelie Latour-Smith, Jessie Park (Frankie), John Antoniak (Erinn), Robin Smith and Dylan Smith (Meghan); her great grandchildren, Elena, Anika, Jonas, Miles, Lee, Felix, Cash, Grace, Avery Isabel, Shawn, Mya, Keenan, Evie, Joseph, Animkii and Amelia; her great great grandchildren, Jacob and Jesse; her sisters, Catherine Manelick (Kate) and Mary Malcolm (Mickey); her siblings-in-law, Gail Koivu and Roy Smith; and also, Matthew, Mitchell and Mandy.
