She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilhelm Waibel and Anna Margarete Waibel (Willi Burkert); and her sister Elizabeth Manga (Waibel). She is survived by: her spouse Willi Burkert; her stepdaughter Caroline Ropponen (Harri); her stepgranddaughter Jenny Nordheim (Manuel); her cousins, Irma and Gerlinde; and her close friends, Barbara, Kirsti and Arlene.
