He was predeceased by: his parents, Elviira Torkkeli and Pekka Torkkeli; his wife Lillie Torkkeli (Kaartinen); his daughter Wilma Morrow; his daughter-in-law Marcy Sumners; and his brother Olavi Torkkeli.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Mackenzie; his children, Willy Torkkeli and Darlene Torkkeli; his stepchildren, Allan, Linda Sumners, Lillian, Frank Cormier, Ken Sumners and Lyle Sumners; his great grandchildren, Eino Viikeri, Lori Zimak (Mathew Viikeri), Liisa Wilton, Wade Hughes, Roy Viikeri, Tamara Varney (Justin), Heather, Joe Bouley (Cody), Patti Brown (Michael Brown), John Sumners (Rayann Gustafson), Wayne Sumners (Tamara Sumners), Audrey, Dave Talbot (Keira), Collin Graham, Tuula Graham, Chris Myslicki (Sohvi Myslicki), Sheri, Carmelo Notarbartolo (Maddox Notarbartolo), Jake Torkkeli (Hunter), Luke, Allie Morrow (Mackenzie Morrow), Logan Morrow and Rhuori Shepherd; and his sister-in-law Lilli Torkkeli.
Wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending the visitation and services.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
