It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavette Helen Woodbeck (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father John Iwanec; and her in-laws, Earl and Joyce Woodbeck. She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Erin and Matthew; her daughter-in-law Melanie; her grandchildren, Clara and Archie; her brother Gerry; and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Gural (Barry) and Tom Woodbeck. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews.

Donations in Lavette's memory can be made to the Northwestern Ontario Women's Centre.
