She was predeceased by: her parents, Cami Copp and Arthur Bernst; her son Tristan Gehl; and her siblings, Bradley Penner and Sheliegha Penner.

She is survived by: her husband Shawn Gehl; her daughters, Lyric, Emma and Harleigh Gehl; her stepfather Fred Copp; her mother-in-law Doreen Johnson; and her siblings-in-law, Cagney Blanchette, Phil Wawia and Kevin Johnson (Ami). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended relatives.
