She was predeceased by: her husband David Ruth; and her parents, Doris Chambers and Arnold Chambers. She is survived by: her daughter Jeannine Godeski (Mike); and her siblings, Darlene Chambers (Donny) and Rodney Chambers (Gwen). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed being a volunteer with the art program at the Alzheimer's Society of Thunder Bay and always looked forward to her T.O.P.S meetings at the 55+ Centre.
