She was predeceased by: her husband Stan; her parents, Frank Hakanen and Lilja Hakanen; and her brothers, Eelis (Maimie) and Walter (Joyce).
She is survived by: her children, Brenda and Glenn (Edy); and her grandchildren, Corey, Kyle, Ryan and Lyndsay. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
