With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Poystila (Thunder Bay, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on July 5, 2024 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma and Sulo; his siblings, Rauni, Sirkka and Lars; and his grandson Liam.

He is survived by: his wife Aila; his children, Lisa, Roy, Leila (Mark), Hannu and Gary; his grandchildren, Kaarina (Kolton), Olivia, Oliver and Leo; and his brothers, Sulo and Mauri.
