We are sad to announce that on May 30, 2019, at the age of 87, Joan Murphy (Thunder Bay, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Murphy; her parents, John Anderson and Mary Edna Anderson; and her sister Margaret. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Quinlan (Bev), Robert Murphy (Marie), Shawn Woods (Keith) and Pat Murphy (Tammy); her great grandchild Rowan; her siblings-in-law, Frank Murphy, Jim Murphy (Patsy), Dave Murphy (Kim) and Trisha Smith (late Barry); and her cousin Kitty Kukko. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "Giving Tree" at Pioneer Ridge, "The Urban Abbey youth shelter project" or the Northern Cancer Fund.
