We are sad to announce that on October 18, 2021, at the age of 80, Joan Kunnas (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Almonte, Ontario passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Kunnas to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Jordan and George Jordan; her brother Bill Jordan; and her sister-in-law Kathleen Jordan. She is survived by: her husband Ron; her children, Shawn, Erin Roulston and Kristen (Toronto); her brothers, Jerry Jordan (Lynn) and Jack Jordan (Roberta); her brother-in-law Gary Kunnas (Marion); and her grandchildren, Michaela, Molly, Mara Kunnas, Morgan, Annika, Roxanna Roulston and Mika Hussey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The harsh elements of the polio she contracted as a child returned in her later years causing chronic pain and mobility loss, but she never lost her smile, humour and charity towards others.
