It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janis Diane Medwid of Thunder Bay, Ontario, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joyce Proudfoot and Cecil Proudfoot; and her grandparents, Olive and Peter Martin. She is survived by: her children, Greg Medwid (Barb) and Geoff Medwid (Katariina); her grandchildren, Jessica (Dustie), Nikki (Tony), Robert, Peter and Lilianna; and her sister Michelle Proudfoot.
