She was predeceased by: her parents, John Salo and Raili Vaisanen; and her brother Veiko Salo. She is survived by: her siblings, Carl Salo, Vilho Salo (Leona), Ilona Hagglund, Ilmi Hoyem and Esko Vaisanen.
