Irene Loponen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Loponen (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on May 28, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Irene Loponen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Loponen; her parents, William and Anna; and her siblings, Lila Ilkka (Carl), Elvi Ojala, Allan Ojala (Martha) and Willie Ojala.

She is survived by: her children, Finnish, Ed Loponen (Fran), Sharon Schneider (Bruce) and Fay Broemer (Dale); her grandchildren, Lee Loponen (Holly), Jason Loponen (Pamela) and Stephanie Emmett (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Skylar, Kody, Archer and Isaac; and her brother-in-law Eino Loponen (Joan). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
