He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Sutton and O. J. Sutton; his sister Carol Anne MacDonald; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Bruley and Betsy Rogers.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Joanna (Mark) and Scott Sutton (Candace); and his grandchildren, Kallem, Brysen Beaucage, Malia and Arianna Sutton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and countless dear friends.
