It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Varblane (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on March 19, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Naina Blixt and Emil Blixt; her son Richard; her husband Ulo Varblane (Eddie); her daughter Marion Ihamaki; her son-in-law Waino Ihamaki; her siblings, Anita, Linnea and Alfred; her niece Barb Sharp; and her nephews, Alfred Luoma and Leonard Lassi.
She is survived by: her former spouse Mauri Luhtala; her sisters, Irene and Shirley; and her grandson Wayne Ihamaki. She is also survived by four great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
