He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugenio and Rosina; his siblings, Eva, Teresa (Eugenio) and Giacinto (Ida); and his brother-in-law Peter.

He is survived by: his wife Carmelina Berardi; his children, Franco (Sharon) and Rosanna (Sid); his daughter-in-law Patti-Jo; his grandchildren, Dante (Ashley), Josef (Philip), Jordan (Shaina), Dani (Eric) and Madison (Luke); his great grandchildren, Nolan and Felix; and his brothers, Vince (Beverly) and Mario (Maria). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's R. C. Church (123 Hilldale Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7G1H6). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. An entombment was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the St. Andrew's Catholic Cemetery (690 Oliver Rd, Thunder Bay, ON P7B6S6). A reception was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Harbourview Funeral Centre (499 Cumberland St N, Thunder Bay, ON P7A4R9).
