It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Ainsworth (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty and Frank; his brother Bob (Joan); his son-in-law Paul; and his niece Cheryl.

He is survived by: his wife Doreen; his children, Ronald (Nancy), Susan (Malcolm) and Ken (Ardina); his grandchildren, Holly (Dan), Robert, Jennifer (Steve), Andrea (Ryan), Erin (Ryan), Lauren, Lindsay (Trevor) and Kelin; and his nieces, Lori (Don), Roberta, Maxine, Shelby, Marion and Laura. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.

As directed by the Province of Ontario and the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, a record of attendance must be maintained and wearing of masks or face coverings by everyone and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet is mandatory for those attending the service.
