He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Thompson (Miller) and Joseph Thompson; his siblings, Bruce and Ruth; and his great grandchild Mackenzie.

He is survived by: his grandson Danny; his wife Dolores Rapino; his children, Judie and Danny (Charmaine); his grandchildren, Aaron (Lyndsay), Melanie, Danielle and Graysen; and his great grandchildren, Scarlett, Rory and Piper.
