It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Hendel (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Baden, Ontario, who passed away on September 28, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Shirley; his children, Kim (Larry), James (Wendy) and Patrice (Brian); his grandchildren, Erin (Andrew), Kayla (Zach), Jonathan (Kate), Alexander, Rachel and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Emma; his parents, George Hendel and Rosina Hendel; and his siblings, Marie (Wiesel), Rose (Fennell), Tillie (Nentwig), David and Martin.
