It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Gagnon (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Saint-Elie, Québec, who passed away at the age of 97, on October 27, 2020. He was predeceased by: his wife Monica Tennier; his daughter Michele; his parents, Alphonse and Edouardina; and his sisters, Georgette, Jean, Lucille and Therese.
He is survived by: his children, Carole Kanary (Mark), Sharon Peters (Dan), Brenda Moorhead (John), Trisha Pyhtila (Chris) and George; his grandchildren, Jason, Rickie, Renee, Brock, Callandre, Jamie, Jackie, Michael, Taylor, Erin, Nathan and Ethan; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Tennier (Susan) and Bruce Campbell (Jean). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, a private family service will be held on Thursday, November 5th beginning at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Harbourview Funeral Centre, presided by Rev. Msgr.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CNIB Thunder Bay, Roots to Harvest, or Thunder Bay Humane Society.
