It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of George Ian Brown (Thunder Bay, Ontario), who passed away on May 31, 2023, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brown and Mary Brown; his sister Katherine Stuart; and his siblings-in-law, Jaakko Mattila, Taimi Mattila-Romonas, Frank Romonas, Leena and Dave Cressman.

He is survived by: his wife Hilkka; his children, Christine Wolf (Ben), Steven Brown (Sheila) and Michele Caputo (John Paul); his grandchildren, Ella and Evan Brown; his brother Ronnie (Brown); and his siblings-in-law, Aila Buckrell (Gerry), Elsie Read (Jim), Rita Mattila (Kal Chepil) and Paul Stuart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
