With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Arthur Williams (Thunder Bay, Ontario), born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on December 29, 2022 at the age of 87. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George Arthur Williams to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Bessie; his stepfather Alex Guz; and his sister Norma. He is survived by: his wife Marion Jean Williams (English); his children, Jennifer Mortensen (Richard), Joseph S. Williams, Georgina Williams and George Craig Williams (Blanca); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Mortensen, Signe Jean Palamarek (Lucas), Joseph A. Williams, Jonathon Williams and Joshua Williams; his siblings, Harry Williams (Kathy), Elizabeth Frost and Margaret Williams; his aunt Jean Oatway; and his sister-in-law Joan English. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many close cousins.

If friends so desire, donations may be made in George Arthur Williams' memory to his favorite cause, the Thunder Bay Field Naturalists, Nature Reserves Endowment fund (tbfn.net) or the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre.
