He was predeceased by: his parents, Giovani Cava and Maria Cava; his brother Etalo Cava; his sister-in-law Sandra Cava (Linda Kay); and his close friend Bella.

He is survived by: his children, Maria Kiviaho (Todd), Kathy Cava and Louis Cava; and the mother of his children Valerie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and MANY MANY special friends.
